provides molecules (API's) and CMC services to the pharmaceutical industry
worldwide. Syntagon's head office is located in Södertälje, Sweden with a
subsidiary in Latvia. Syntagon employs 40 people, 12 of whom are in Latvia. The
turnover is estimated to SEK 66 million for the current year. The annual growth
has recent years been approx. 35%. Management has a clear vision of expansion,
both by supply to established customers as well as contracting new clients.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the whole sales cycle from
prospecting to signing of contracts. The Sales Manager regularly gets involved
in technical issues and discussions early in the sales cycle, where the
counterparts are mostly R&D and/or Sourcing Managers. To be successful
candidate should have an MSc or equivalent degree in chemistry. Sales or
purchasing experience from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not
essential. After an introductory period, the position holder is expected to be a
motivated self starter. Since you will be active in most European markets
you have to be fluent in both written and spoken English. Knowledge in other
languages is an advantage. You will report to the Vice President, Sales
& Marketing at Syntagon AB. The position involves frequent travels mostly within
