For our customer we are now looking for a Sales Manager.
Our customer is a fast growing international manufacturer of construction chemicals with plants in Belgium, Spain and the USA. The company is specialized in preventative and remedial waterproofing products for underground constructions.
The company is also the distributor of Geotechnical systems from Ischebeck, packers from PPW Polyplan, concrete repair products from Roklin System and IMCO Technologies, lattice girders from Befer TAT and other products used for civil engineering projects.
The Sales Manager will report to the Business Unit Manager in Sweden and can be stationed either in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
Purpose of job:
Manage the costumers? sales activities in the territory (Sweden and surrounding countries: via distributors in Norway, Finland, Denmark) in order to exploit the sales opportunities to the fullest extent in terms of growth in turnover and profitability.
Principal Duties/ Accountabilities:
• Develop and propose strategies/ policies and plans for all sales activities in the territory, whether related to own products or products under distribution.
• Set up a competitive sales price system based on internal cost prices and information from market research: competitor?s prices, product quality, etc.
• Organize a sales network of own sales people, distributors, applicators and agents. Regularly review and follow up the performance of this network.
• Introduce and promote the products with the relevant authorities, engineering companies and architects.
• Obtain orders from customers and handle possible complaints.
• Give technical advice to local clients, backed by the support of the mother company and the principals whose products De Neef Scandinavia distributes.
• Prepare, get approved, implement and monitor sales budgets.
• Ensure the provision, retention, motivation and development of the sales staff which are necessary for the operation.
• Regularly review and identify business opportunities, ensure feedback to the HQ, continuously improve channels to market, contribute to improved services to customers, optimize pricing structure/policy, collect money, take timely corrective actions.
• Maintain contact with suppliers.
• Many years of experience in the building industry, especially in underground construction and geotechnical systems. Strong technical background.
• Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing. Knowledge in German is considered as an additional qualification.
• Good communication skills, ambitious and result oriented.
• Should have a good knowledge of the most common computer software (Microsoft Office).
