Safegate is expanding and is looking for a Sales Manager for key projects in the Middle East.
Safegate is already present in the Middle East, but with fast financial growth the airport market is booming and requires further focus. We will train you in Sweden for 6-12 months after which you will be relocated to Dubai.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you who have already taken the first steps in your career and now is ready to take on an even greater responsibility.
Tasks
• In the role of Sales Manager you will be responsible for key projects in the Middle East.
• You will influence key stakeholders including the Civil Aviation Authority, Airport Operators, Consultants and Contractors.
• You will spend significant time understanding the customer's situation and needs related to safety, efficiency and environment.
• You will assist the customer in transforming their need into a buying action.
• You will validate how Safegate can help improve their performance.
• You must be able to manage long term business cycles.
• You must see travelling as a natural part of your work.
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates must:
• Have good understanding and experience of working with sales, preferably internationally.
• Hold a technical and/or financial business degree from a university.
• Have around 5 years of experience in an operational position within sales or marketing.
• Fluent in English language
• Driving license
Profile and Characteristics
• We are looking for you who have finished your studies, worked about 5 years with sales and now are ready to rake on an even bigger challenge.
• Applicants should possess a distinct drive combined with patience to match long business processes typical of the airport industry as sales projects can be 2-5 years.
• Safegate is a very flat organization and together with a lot of freedom we need you to be confident, self- motivated, service minded, and of course, target oriented. At the same time, you are flexible and a team player.
• Applicants must have a good social ability to be able to develop contact with customers and agents as well as with colleagues.
