About Navico
Navico is the worlds leading manufacturer of navigation electronics for the marine market. With around 1,500 employees, the company operates globally through three brands: B&G, Lowrance, and Simrad. Together the three brands have a reputation for reliability and innovation, and at present the group is launching a new product every 20 days. Marine electronics is a competitive and fast-moving sector with short product life cycles and rapidly evolving technology. The Navico brands cater for owners of all types of boats; from fishing and sailing boats up to super yachts and commercial vessels. Sales are conducted direct with boatbuilders and system integrators; as well as through our Navico dealer network, including retail and web based resellers.

We require a highly motivated & dynamic sales professional responsible for selling all three Navico brands through the EMEA specific channels or clusters in the territory of Sweden. The individual will be focused on developing sales of Navico?s product portfolio through our reseller network of technical dealers and retailers, as well as small boat builders and importers. As well as managing and developing current Navico clients, you will be expected to identify and win new business; so you should expect considerable travel within Sweden, maximising your time in front of the customer.
Duties will include:
• Develop a business plan and sales strategy to penetrate the markets in your given territory & sales cluster
• Plan and develop your own call cycle to maximise your customer facing time in your territory
• Identify customers that have the most sales growth potential for our product offering
• Target these customers with the most appropriate Navico brand and product offering
• Manage and develop customers within your territory & increase our SOW
• Identify and win new business accounts
• Prepare system quotations and drawings for specific approaches to Custom Boatbuilders
• Run, assist and attend exhibitions/shows and seminars
• Arrange and drive specific training programmes to build our resellers product knowledge
• Report back industry, competitive and product news as well as specific product feedback.
• Develop your own high level of product knowledge
• Manage and support the launch and introduction of Navicos new products
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be self motivated, highly driven and focused on winning new business in a challenging & interesting market. We would expect you to come from a technical background perhaps selling into one of Navico?s current markets. You will also have proven sales experience with the motivation and enthusiasm to succeed. You will be expected to learn the Navico product offering inside out and be able to demonstrate why our exciting new products are market leaders. Knowledge or experience of the Marine Industry would be an advantage; however we would be prepared to hear from professionals from outside our industry.
