Sales Manager - Modernization & Upgrades (MGT)

We are currently looking for a Sales manager to our Modernization & Upgrades (M&U) Sales team.

The M&U Sales manager will be responsible to promote, develop and deliver M&U solutions/products with specific mission to grow M&U pipeline and make order entry as per target. In this role you have global responsibility for selling of the MGT M&U solutions/product via regional entities or directly to end customers. And you must work closely with product commercialization team and regional sales organization to develop a target selling strategy for assigned products.

The role involves travelling globally and expect to be out of the country for up to 60 days a year.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

Your profile
* Solid technical understanding of Siemens energy MGT (SGT-500 to SGT-800) Products
* Experience in Sales and Commercial Management. Has to be confident in front of a customer and should be educated to degree level or have a minimum of 3 -5 years' experience in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business
* Understanding of customer business drivers and process requirements
* Proven Sales and negotiation experience in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business environment
* Cultural awareness and experience of working with individuals from different ethnic and religious back grounds
* Good communication skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence other teams to collaborate together
* Understanding of the Siemens Energy internal process and company network
* Disciplined in planning, organizing and structuring of resources. Also to be considered problem solving, strategic thinker, Entrepreneurial spirit
* Knowledge and experience of PM@Siemens and LOA Process is a plus
* Financial, commercial and contractual understanding
* Contract Management in an International Oil & Gas / Power Generation business environment

Your responsibilitites
* All nominated sales activities within the PM000 (Lead Management) through to PM080 (Project Handover)
* Take the ownership of the whole sales process and make necessary coordination with other involved parties like Application engineers, Commercial sales managers and LTP (if necessary) to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals to assist in meeting the company's financial year Key Performance targets (Order intake)
* Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with PM@Siemens methodology, within Siemens Energy process /LOA guidelines, and in a compliant and ethical manner
* Stakeholder Management (Customers, Suppliers, Managers, Colleagues), effective communication Written & Verbal. Respected and able to provide clear direction. (No disciplinary and/or appraisal responsibility.)
* Within the position there will be called upon from time to time to travel internationally to support our in-territory Siemens Energy colleagues and end customers.
