To Oerlikon Balzer we are looking for a
Sales Engineer Components, for the Nordic Region
The key tasks of the Sales Engineer will be driving and executing the growth strategy for the Nordic market. The Sales Engineer will deliver top line growth in accordance with the business plan. Day to day tasks include planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies and follow up, marketing communication such as trade fairs, product launches.
As a Sales Engineer you will be expected to successfully deliver projects to sales, and being KAM for the existing accounts through account strategy, planning, activities and evaluation. You will also be client focused, seeking to identify prospects and entrance tactics as well as executing meeting with customers and partaking in seminars. The position requires frequent travelling within the Nordic Region.
To be considered a candidate for this position, we expect you to have several years experience in B2B Sales with a proven track record of delivering growth, and also a degree within the technical field, e.g. a Ph.D within Materials / Metallurgy or similar.
If you have market experience from one or more of the following engineering market segments it will be strongly advantageous: General Engineering (Automotive, Machine Tools, Food & Beverage, Medical, etc), Oil & Gas, Aerospace. Experience from close fields such as CVD, electroplating, Thermal Spraying, Heat Treatment is also a plus, as well as work experience in surface technology / tribology.
You are a team player who like to push yourself and others. You are full of energy, not afraid to take action and can manage several tasks at once, even during stressful periods. To be a Sales person is more than a profession for you, you live and breathe sales and at the same time have a passion for technology. Since Oerlikon is an international company you speak both fluent Swedish as well as English. Additional European languages such as German are beneficial. Your own location is flexible, although since you will be working closely with the Sales team in Halmstad it is beneficial if you live in the south of Sweden. But as long as you live within Scandinavia and possess the required language preferences you could be considered a candidate.
