Sales Engineer, NanoAnalysis
Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis provides leading edge tools that enable materials characterization and sample manipulation at the nanometer scale. Used on electron microscopes (SEM and TEM) and ion-beam systems (FIB), their tools are used for R&D across a wide range of academic and industrial applications including semiconductors, renewable energy, mining, metallurgy, and forensics.

Oxford Instruments is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to cover the Nordic Region. The position is based at Oxfords Instruments Stockholm Office, located next to the Stockholm Globe Arena in Johanneshov, but with coverage of the whole Nordic region and Baltic wherefore a relatively high amount of travelling will be required.

Role description:

As a sales engineer, you are responsible for the sales and marketing of Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis product lines including Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), Wavelength Dispersive Spectroscopy (WDS), Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) and OmniProbe micromanipulator systems. You will handle all sales-related activities such as prospecting for new business and following up on new and existing opportunities through telephone calls, customer visits, presentations, participation and organization of seminars, workshops, exhibitions etc. You provide customers with all necessary support including sales material, consultation and guidance regarding customer applications. The role involves managing sales-cycles from opportunity generation to order closing, and managing tenders and bid-processes related to your products in the region.

Qualifications:
We believe the successful candidate hold a degree in a relevant scientific discipline (physics, material science, chemistry or engineering) to at least Bachelor level. Previous experience in sales is considered meritorious. Preferably you also have hands-on experience from materials characterization instruments, nanoanalysis techniques or similar.

As a person you are result-oriented and have a high level of self-motivation. You are customer-centric with ability to generate ideas and solutions to address clients' needs. You possess excellent communication skills, listen effectively and convey information with clarity and ease, both in speech and writing.
