Dellner Couplers in Vika, south of Falun, is an expansive and international company that delivers sustainable, innovative and high-quality products and services to train operators and train builders worldwide. Our products consist of couplers, gangways and crash management systems for the railway industry.
Dellner Service is responsible for the life cycle maintenance of train connection systems and offers services such as major overhauls, upgrades, modernizations as well as spare parts and repairs.
Your role
Your main responsibility as a Sales Engineer is to support our global sales teams with technical assistance and product expertise to create strong customer relationships. You are responsible to deliver the most efficient and economical conceptual designs and overhaul proposals, following the customer 's specification as well as our internal guidelines and processes. A central focus in your cooperation with our customers is to present our solutions and get approval from the train engineers. Internally you will work in close cooperation with functions such as; global area sales managers, project management, engineering, RAMS/LCC, testing and customer service.
Some travelling is required in this position.
The position is placed in Vika, Falun and you report to Global Support manager.
We assume
• You have a BSc in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience within the area of the responsibility.
• You are experienced in analysing technical specifications and creating technical solutions/concepts.
• You have experience with customer relations, presenting and selling your ideas.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish.
Preferably you have CAD experience.
