The Sales Team
Our EMEA Sales team consists of engaged professionals that work with enterprise customers from a wide range of industries and from all around the world to understand their needs and ensure a smooth sales process.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer, you will join our Sales team and jump straight into guiding clients on how to improve their web security. Our sales team continuously initiates new dialogues with great companies to help them understand how they can use Detectify to improve their organisation's security.

You will:

• Analyse clients' technical and organisational needs and guide them into a modern way of working with security.
• Solve issues relating to clients' technical set-up and communicating suggestions to different stakeholders.

You will have great opportunity to decide upon your own schedule, set learning frameworks, and constantly evolve the role and its possibilities.

Who you are
You have a background in the software industry (or a strong interest in tech). Preferably you also have some knowledge about APIs and are able to mediate this in a trustworthy way. You have either gained your technical knowledge from past experience within programming or from working in a similar sales role. You are able to logically assess problems, and apply the knowledge you possess/learn to creatively solve them.

As a person, you are committed, driven, independent and can easily communicate your ideas through presentations, demos and whiteboard sessions. You are a creative person with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and present yourself and your ideas through excellent English skills, both written and spoken. Additional languages are appreciated, especially German, Spanish, French or Dutch.

Please note that this is not a support position, but you will rather act as an extension of our sales representatives and both help clients with your technical knowledge and collect feedback for our product roadmap.
