You will be part of ABB in Alingsås (Kabeldon). We are 170 coworkers working with development, manufacturing, marketing and sales of equipment for distribution and transmission of electricity in power cable networks. Equipment from Kabeldon is used by utilities and industries all over the world. Currently we are going through an expansion phase and are preparing to strengthen our position with offers for electrical distribution both inside and outside the Nordic countries. This means that we are entering new markets and need to develop our market strategies.
Tasks
As Sales Engineer you will participate in the expansion of a global high-end organization, an exciting challenge for a person with the technical skills and drive required for this role. It will be your mission to provide back-office support in relation to the market related tools and processes that are currently being used and developed. As back-office support to our international sales force you will contribute with sales related work, such as pricelists, quotations and technical questions. You will also prepare and submit commercial offers in cooperation with Area Sales Managers. We offer a range of development opportunities to the right candidate.
Requirements
You are a business oriented Engineer, technician in electrical engineering or similar with insight in fuse technology. Perhaps you have worked with sales support, sales or as panel builder or with distributors in the past? Fluency in Swedish and English are a must in this role as is computer literacy. On a person level you are organized, enthusiastic and result oriented. You are also patient, supportive and technologically interested. People describe you as proactive and self-motivated.
