This role is based in our HQ in Lund. But since we are looking for a Danish-speaking professional, we are open to having you based in a remote setup in Denmark.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Sales Engineer, your role is to be the link between explaining our fantastic portfolio and all that it can do for our customers. If we are lucky, you will find yourself in the middle of our customers' environment testing, showing, and educating them on how to use Axis solutions in their business. You will have the opportunity to visit new and exciting places that you would normally not be able to visit, from offices to industries, oil platforms, governmental sites, and hospitals (but in a good way!)

The role is responsible for researching, preparing, and presenting technical product presentations designed to provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement network video surveillance systems. You will hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations and create your content based on audience and topic. You are a person that enjoys the balance of sitting and solving customer problems about how to design the best Video/Audio and Access control system in the comfort of your own home and at the same time eager to pack your bags and equipment to get your theories. If I were to give you the APIs for our cameras and a construction vehicle and you would find a way to remote control that vehicle, then I can say you would be perfect for the role.

Apart from the above-mentioned tasks, it will be your job to:

* Support our Key Customers with technical advice and support in new projects. Working in close conjunction with our Key Account Managers and End Customer Team.
* Customize and adapt customer installations regarding Axis solutions together with partner software and/or hardware
* Making customer visits, conducting product demonstrations and pilot installations as well as hands-on trials with customers and Partners.
* Set up technical installations to investigate new solutions and create material around findings.
* Supporting the sales organization in tender and RFP/RFQ process and answering project-related questions.
* Helping the sales organization to qualify tenders in order to select projects.
* Set up Axis demo area at events/trade shows and demonstrate Axis products to Customers.
* Continuously keep the technical knowledge up to date on the latest products.
* Provide selected pieces of training from the Axis Academy portfolio.
* Work with the central/global pre-sales organization and develop written pre-sales material of technical nature, both in the form of articles and PowerPoint presentations.
* Follow up on set KPIs related to the function and offer a contribution to reach the target set for the region.

You will be part of an international team covering the Nordic region and report to the Regional Manager for the Engineering and Training function. Your main focus will be the Danish market. As such you can be based in Skåne or Denmark. If you speak Danish natively then you are way ahead of the curve!

Depending on your location it can be a home-based or Lund office role but with a strong customer focus where traveling within Denmark is expected; approx. 2 days per week, this will include site visits and customer meetings. Some international travel across the region will also be expected. Travel will also include visits/meetings to the global HQ in Lund Sweden.



WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background in IT, Telecom, or Networking/IP. We believe you have experience in pre-sales, project-based work within an IT channel, and knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and applications. You have sound knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP).

Apart from this, we believe you have experience in:

* Experience in System solutions integration, software or hardware
* Knowledge of scripting (Node-RED, Node.JS, PHP, Python)
* Knowledge of HTTP and MQTT integration
* Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
* Excellent communication skills in order to develop internal and external relationships
