Job Summary:

As a Sales Engagement Manager in Engagement Practice IP & Transport you play a key role in driving technical sales of complex networking solutions towards targeted customers in the RECA Region. The Engagement Practice is Ericsson's business development and pre-sales organization. The role includes building and strengthening a strategic dialogue with customers within assigned markets and to establish Ericsson's position as a key player in the IP and Transport market segment building from Ericsson's expertise as the global leader in Mobile Communication.

Ericsson's IP & Transport portfolio of Solutions and Services allows us to support our customers' transformation to next-generation programmable IP and transport network, enabled by SDN and Virtualization.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

In cooperation with the Customer Unit (CU), you broaden and strengthen the relationship towards the full range of customer executives; you promote and sell Ericsson's IP & Transport networking solutions. You proactively drive strategic customer dialogue on long-, medium-, and short-term topics to establish trust and build business partnership. You generate, qualify and close new sales opportunities.

Position Qualifications:

• University degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering/ICT. Relevant higher university qualifications, such as an MBA, can be a plus.
• Proven track record of successful Consultative Presales activities including experience working with executives and engaging in technical and business conversations along with a strong understanding of how they evaluate, purchase, and deploy large scale systems.
• At least 8 years' experience in sales, consultancy and/or delivery within the IP & Transport industry, in different positions. Background from an operator or a leading IP & Transport vendor is a plus.
• Strong ability to work in a complex global environment, effectively building and sustaining relationships at multiple levels with the customer as well as internally.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Spoken and written of Swedish is a strong advantage
