The applicant will join the Acquisition Sales team where you will work within a diverse team alongside experienced colleagues with the responsibility of customer acquisition.
Role description:
As an IoT Sales Developer you have the overall perspective for inbound and outbound lead generation. The position has been carefully crafted with the aim to generate the greatest sales impact and individual professional development at the same time. The learning curve will be steep as you will be placed at the heart of the team and be an integral part in the sales process.
As a Sales Developer - IoT your tasks consist of:
Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
Create outbound leads utilizing lead generation tools such as Ocean, Sales Navigator and Sales QL, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence.
Work closely with other Sales Manager in Acquisition Sales Team to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools.
Work closely with product marketing and marketing teams to enhance and execute outbound campaigns.
Schedule appointments and demos for interested prospects
Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, on linkedin and email.
Act as the subject matter expert on IoT offerings/solution development skills
Requirements:
Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, Ocean.io, LinkedIn, Tableau, Google Apps, Microsoft Office etc.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by IoT Solutions
Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
BA/BS degree or relevant experience
