Safmarine Container Lines is one of the brands within Maersk Liner business, and has been so since the acquisition in 1999. In Safmarine we strive to provide our customers with the best possible service and we put a lot of effort into our customer relationships. We are now looking to find a Sales Coordinator to be a part of our 4 person sales team in Sweden. The sales team consists of two sales coordinators, an account manager and the country sales manager. As a sales coordinator in Safmarine you will get the opportunity to work in a small group where we together strive for a common goal, and where you will have the possibility to influence the sales strategy. Within the Sales coordinator role you will be involved in all ranges of the business and have a wide range of different tasks.
You will be responsible for:
• Providing our customers with the best possible service
• Building and maintaining good, profitable relationships with our customers
• Handling customer requests by creating value propositions and negotiating deals
• Register all customer interactions in relevant sales support tools
• Proactively follow up on quotes and other sales related activities to ensure future growth of our business
• Taking part in achieving the volume and revenue targets for the country
• Striving to be a role model when it comes to living the APMM values the Safmarine way
• Contributing to a good team spirit
Safmarine expects you to embrace responsibility and ownership, feeling comfortable with taking decisions and being able to back them up. You should have a positive attitude, a competitive drive and an ability to act and speak in an open, straightforward and constructive manner. We expect you to have a sense of urgency, being able to work independently but still put "we before I".
Skills required:
• Analytical skills, high attention to details with an investigative nature
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Great communication skills
• Experience of customer relations and sales in the shipping industry
• Good sales, negotiation, listening and problem solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Systems proficiency
• The ability to embrace and quickly adapt to changes
