Sales Consultant to Groupon AB

Groupon is looking for Sales Consultant to join our team in Stockholm. Your focus will be within our key clients and your main responsibilities will be to generate and increase feature merchants and to reach and exceed company targets. Through a consultative approach to client management and sales you will understand your clients business in order to construct a mutually beneficial offer to our subscribers to increase their customer base and generate upsell. Desired Skills and Experience

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Proactively source, pitch and close merchants by adding value through a consultative sales approach

• Present Groupon as the unique opportunity for businesses to acquire new customers

• Achieve and exceed on weekly and monthly KPIs

• Educate merchants on how Groupon works and how they can maximize the opportunity post feature

• Good understanding of seasonality and when is the best time to feature merchants

• Involve line management to assist with closing deals where necessary

Required skills:

• Proven track record of new business acquisition, B2B sales and account management, preferably in any of the following industries: media, advertising, e-commerce or entertainment.

• Excellent communication skills, must have a consultative sales approach and be a strong persuader and influencer

• Strong analytical skills, makes well-judged decisions, good numeracy, pays strong attention to detail, is a strong problem solver, demonstrates good commercial awareness and thinks outside the box to generate new ideas

• Highly driven, is self-motivated, target orientated, resilient and tenacious

• Well organized and plans and prioritizes work effectively

• Bachelor degree is desirable
