I-Tech (http://i-tech.se/about-i-tech/)is a bio-technology company based in Mölndal, Sweden that owns all IP and regulatory rights to the bio-repellent ingredient for marine coatings Selektope® that offers ship owners superior hard fouling prevention performance for ships. With a first of its kind mode of action in marine coatings, this product protects ship hulls from barnacle settlement - we call it re-thinking fouling prevention. I-Tech's vision is to establish Selektope® as the leading alternative biocide to prohibit marine growth in an effective and sustainable way.

About the position as Sales and Technical Marketing Manager
We are looking for an energetic and bold player to our team, to hold the responsibilities of expanding and supporting the sales of our product Selektope® within the global marine coatings industry.In this role, you will grow sales through the successful management of existing accounts, as well as develop new accounts in new end user companies. We believe you are accustomed to sophisticated and technical sales processes and with an appetite to create a shift in trends and contribute to sustainable operations in shipping. An important aspect to succeed in this role will be your ability to also interact with various stakeholders that influence decisions on marine coating selection and working jointly with the team to create a pull effect on the market. You will also be part of our development project teams and represent the voice of the customer.

Ready to pack your bags and get going? Great. Approximately 100 days a year you 'll represent I-Tech at customer meetings and international marketing events including industry trade-shows and conferences in places like Japan, China and the USA.

We are looking for someone who...
has the ability to establish and maintain trustworthy, long-term relationships. In your previous positions you have shown that you have good skills for interacting both with local staff as well as global directors. You are looking to work for a company in a global industry and you operate successfully in foreign business cultures, especially those in Asia. Your way of communicating has a given direction: straight forward. In structured and resourceful ways, you solve problems and find new approaches to move things forward.

Our wishes:

• Proven experience of sales (with preference in marine industry or technology).
• Track-record in building long term relationships in Asian, European and American cultures.
• Fluent in English, with preference for Chinese, Korean or Japanese languages
• Appetite for frequent international travel.
• A desire to make change happen
