Midiel is active in several countries, with manufacturing in central and eastern Europe. Midiel AB is responsible for the markets in central Asia, and parts of Russia.
The new employee shall take over our marketing and project management work in the central Asian markets, especially the Kazakh market, which is our main focus market, but also be prepared to work with customers in Russia. The task entails contacts with potential customers, long-term development of relations, understanding of requirements and preparation of proposals, negotiations. Once a project has been sold, the sales manager becomes more project manager. The projects are technically challenging and long-term; the person who has participated in the definition phase must remain in the project as a project manager.
Our new employee must be prepared to travel extensively in central Asia. Very good cultural understanding, as well as understanding of business conditions in Kazakhstan and surrounding countries is necessary, gained from living in the area. The person must speak Kazakh and Russian fluently, including understanding of technical terms. The person must further speak and write English well, mastering technical terms and expressions in the mining industry. Experience and understanding of trading and logistics issues with customers in the area, delivery of large pieces of equipment to sites far away with simple infrastructure, gained from working for trading companies for such work. Experience from project management process work.
