International® is the leading brand of AkzoNobel?s Marine & Protective Coatings (M&PC) business unit, which encompasses our Marine, Protective Coatings and Yacht business. Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen working for the International Protective Coatings business in Sweden. We are entering an interesting and exciting phase of our growth plan and we are looking for a dynamic and proactive sales and marketing coordinator to support the Protective Coatings business in the Nordic region to achieve our ambitious growth plans.
Key responsibilities will be to:
• Act as a personal assistant to the General Manager;
• Manage and proactively develop effective marketing sales tools;
• Manage the requirements for marketing materials such as brochures, give-aways and other promotional materials;
• Manage, coordinate and support the requirements for conferences, exhibitions and customer seminars;
• Ensure effective communications from the central teams to the Nordic regions e.g. marketing/technical/commercial bulletins and general communications.
Requirements
To be successful in this position you must have a good educational background, ideally with experience in managing and coordinating complex and diverse requirements across a number of countries. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential; and most importantly, a proactive and self-starter attitude. You are a good communicator both in writing and verbally, fluent in Swedish and have a good command of English. Knowledge in other Nordic languages is an advantage.
