About Intertek

As a salesperson you will work together with a small team within our global business line Assuris. The team are experts on regulatory support and help customers in Sweden and the rest of the world to ensure that their products are produced efficiently and in compliance to chemical regulatory standards.
We are now looking to add someone that has a passion for sales, who is driven to develop the unit and be our designated salesperson.
The role
The core responsibility of this role is to contribute to the growth of Sales for Intertek's Assuris services on Nordic market.
• Prepare and execute sales plan in line with the company's sales objectives and policy.
• Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics.
• Responsible for developing business opportunities in the defined area (hunting) and for maintaining existing customers (farming), through effective client research, prospecting and networking.
• Pro-actively manage all incoming enquiries by calling to ascertain interest and opportunity.
• Carry out desk top research to validate new customers and gather market intelligence.
• Drive complex deals from technical definition trough budgeting and proposal to order.
• Approach the customer in a cross-selling perspective, promoting synergies with other business lines.
• Increase sales YoY as targeted each year.
• Prepare monthly sales reporting, record customer interactions and opportunities into the CRM.
Who are you?
As a person, you are result-oriented and have a business and customer-oriented approach. You have a strong social competence and easy to communicate and collaborate with others at all levels in a company. Your ability to plan and structure your work will help you successfully run and manage this role. Your experience and your interest in customers drive you to come up with new ideas and solutions.
• Working experience in a sales field, preferably in the consultancy sector
• Great verbal and written communication skills (in Swedish and English)
• Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
• Independently organize the time with meetings, call and prospect search
• Excellent organizational capacity, planning and analysis
• Familiar with chemical regulations such as REACH/detergents/biocides/cosmetics is highly desirable
