hela Sverige As a Safety Validator you will participate in projects as the independent expert in validating the system implementation against its requirements. You will be working with the project from the start-up, regularly giving support and early judgements to guide the Project to a successful safety assessment.
Your Key responsibilities
Write the validation plan applying methods and techniques according to company quality and safety procedures as well as CENELEC standards.
Perform validation activities according to the validation plan, based on reviews and conducting technical/ functional safety audits.
Support and provide judgments in the project to external stake holders in order to ensure expected results of the system validation. You will be collaborating with safety stake holders such as customer safety managers, independent safety assessor, certification body and national safety approval authority.
Validate development, test activities and review safety cases.
Write the validation report summarizing the system validation in the areas of functional behavior, performance, safety and reliability.
Master degree or higher education in Engineering.
3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Excellent understanding of concepts and procedures within Safety Engineering
Good knowledge of development of safety critical architecture and requirement management
Knowledge of CENELEC standards, Safety Standard (IEC/ISO) and/ or European Rail Traffic Management System standards and regulations.
Fluent in English.
Experience of rail signaling is an advantage.
SW design and structured testing experience is an advantage
Well organized and structured, with the ability to work effectively against deadlines.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Capable of coordinating work within the project and handling conflict resolutions.
High degree of integrity and make decisions required by role's responsibility
