Patria Helicopters AB (PHAB) are located at Stockholm Arlanda.
The Safety Manager is responsible for the development, operation and continuous improvement of the safety management system (SMS) deployed by PHAB. The safety manager is expected to support, facilitate and lead the implementation and maintenance of the safety management system, fostering an organizational culture for effective safety management, risk management and occurrence reporting.
As Safety Manager your main duties will be:
• Act as a focal point for safety management issues in the organisation.
• Act as the facilitator for changes necessary to effect safety across the organisation, the safety manager's priorities are to supervise and maintain the safety management processes and procedures within the organisation's SMS
• Promote safety awareness within the organisation
• Ensure that safety management has the same or higher priority level throughout organisation as any other management and operational processes
• Act up as Security Manager in the absence of the Director Quality & Security
• Manage all aspects of the organisation's SMS, including:
• Monitoring the effectiveness of SMS
• Initiating corrective actions when necessary
• Providing safety reports on SMS performance on periodic basis
• Providing safety advice to top management and proposing corrective actions on safety related issues as needed
• Ensuring that safety-related documentation and records are available and up to date
As Security Coordinator you will support the organisation by carrying out security interviews with staff at all levels and support the Director Quality & Security with administration of ID cards, keys etc.
Your Background:
We are looking for you who have minimum 10 years work life experience of which a minimum 5 years from Aviation MRO environment in a similar role.
You hold a relevant Engineering or Technical degree, or an aircraft technician or maintenance engineer qualification with additional education that is acceptable to the competent authority.
You have knowledge of:
• Human Factors and regulatory requirements for management personnel
• Strong understanding of safety management principles
• Understanding of security management principles
• Operational management expertise and understanding of the operations-critical tasks and systems within the organisation
• EU management system requirements and their application (including safety management systems and compliance monitoring).
• thorough knowledge of MOE and safety policy
• knowledge of a relevant sample of the type of aircraft or components in PHAB 's scope gained through a formalised training course.

You as a person:
To succeed in this position, you need exceptional leader skills with experience in leading a team and be able to execute cross functional leadership. You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills where you effectively communicate and work with all customers and all levels of the organization. You are Fluent in English and Swedish.
Furthermore, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and work under pressure in time-sensitive situations. You have ability to work in ambiguous settings with minimal direct management.
