About the Role
As an SHE coordinator, you will provide specific knowledge and expertise of safety and regulations regarding the work environment at the Falkenberg site. Hence, this person will need to ensure that we have the right information, competence and leadership in this area, enabling us to constantly develop and creating a better and safer workplace.
Risk assessments is a big part of your everyday life and you spend lot of time on the shop floor, both in the Falkenberg factory and when supporting the Mölnlycke plant. The job includes identifying important, emerging safety trends and ensuring that the sites are equipped to effectively deal with these. Thus, this position has an important role in making sure we fulfill all legal obligations and comply with the local and European standards and the safety strategy of the company.
As our SHE coordinator, you will contribute by adding increased knowledge and commitment within our business at Falkenberg and Mölnlycke sites. In the scope of driving our safety and environment work forward, education and leading trainings is an essential part.
In order to continuously improve within the area, the SHE coordinator takes the lead on environmental and sustainability issues.

What You Will Do
• Develop the work processes in the areas of safety and sustainability towards continuously improvement and follow up on targets and KPI:s. For example, this include ensuring that our management system is constantly evolving and up to date and comply with regulatory and internal requirements and best practices.
• Create and execute work environment surveys, measurements and risk assessments.
• Run and lead trainings within your area to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the work to reduce the use of chemicals.
• Do monthly follow up on our sustainability and safety targets.
• Support the organization as administrator and super user of our incident reporting system Gensuite and lead investigations on incidents and accidents
• Being involved in the Essity's RESH network together with the other Consumer Goods factories in Europe and participating actively in our external audits for OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and FSC.
• Stepping in for RESH manager if necessary

Who You Are
You have a genuine interest in safety, work environment, and environmental matters - including sustainability. Motivating and leading others comes natural for you, even if they do not report to you, and you easily collaborate and communicate a message to others. Additionally, this role requires that you are disciplined and work well with details. Also, you have great analytical capabilities and enjoy problem solving, which is a recurring task due to business need e.g. in terms of new tools or ways of working.

Apart from above, you also have:
• An academic degree as an engineer specialized in safety / work environment / risk management, or equivalent knowledge and experience within this area.
• 2-5 years ' experience working with safety in a production environment.
• Leaderships skills and an interest to run presentations/educations
• Experience from similar position or possessing insight in Essity 's regulations is advantageous
• Comfortable working in business systems and office programs
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Swedish is a merit
