Your Tasks
As a Safety Engineer, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of transportation with your crucial role in ensuring that our ATS is safe and reliable for public use. Not only that, you will have the opportunity to contribute to design decisions and solve some of the toughest engineering challenges of the 21st century.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating in the creation of Functional and Technical Safety Concepts for systems with safety goals and ASIL-classified requirements
• Evaluating proposed technical solutions to judge the possibility of developing and creating software solutions
• Representing the ATS safety group within system teams, participating in Hazard Analysis, FMEA, FTA, and other safety-related activities
• Documenting system safety activities in a Safety Plan and work products in a Safety Case, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• You will be responsible for presenting our safety case to regulatory bodies, demonstrating our commitment to safety and compliance.
• Clearly and effectively communicating the steps we take to ensure the safety of our autonomous transport systems will be key in building trust and confidence with authorities and other stakeholders. Your work in this area will be critical in securing the necessary approvals and permissions for our systems to operate on public roads.

Are you an innovative thinker with a passion for problem-solving? As a Safety Engineer, you will have the opportunity to bring your analytical, results-oriented and structured approach to our team. You thrive on new challenges and have a positive, can-do attitude, and you are always open and curious to learn from your teammates. You are an expert in managing cross-functional projects and are able to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of complex systems.
With your 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in embedded systems development, you have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing techniques to boost safety and quality.
