As our Safety Engineer role you will be responsible for the safety work within a project from the tender phase to the end of warranty. This includes ensuring that all internal departments understands and fulfil the requirements so that that the vehicle is approved by the customer and the authorities. You will work together with the engineering departments to ensure that product safety is considered in all parts of the design.
When the train is delivered to the customer you will follow it much of its life and support investigations of potential incidents and accidents as well as design changes.
To succeed in this role you need to have a background in safety engineering and the ability to form an understanding of the whole propulsion system.

As our ideal candidate
You have an engineering degree in electrical engineering alternatively mechanical or quality engineering.
You have at least three years relevant work experience.
You are flexible, team oriented and thorough.
You are fluent in English. Swedish, German, French, Spanish and/or Chinese is qualifying.
If you have experience from fire requirements and analysis and/or have knowledge of the safety standard EN 50126 it is an asset.
You are a self-starter and have strong communication and negotiation skills? You are creative, have an eye for details and are well known for your analytical thinking skills?
