We are now looking for two Associate Pharmacovigilance Scientist for assignments at AstraZeneca. The assignments will start as soon as possible and will last until December 31st 2015.
The assignment is within Global Regulatory Affairs and Patient Safety. The mission of this department is to proactively and optimally apply knowledge, strategies and operation to make the most meaningful difference to patient health through the development, registration and safety surveillance of AstraZeneca medicines across their life cycle.
More specificaly Patient Safety ensures that AstraZeneca makes the most meaningful difference to patient health through great medicines by minimizing and managing risk with excellent surveillance, epidemiology, and safety science. The core purpose of Patient Safety is to protect patients who take AstraZeneca's medicines against undue risk.

Kvalifikation:
Task duties and responsibilities:
Writing and reviewing different types of periodic reports, within strict timelines
Support patient safety teams in analyzing data
Supporting and also acting as a methodological expert from a patient safety perspective, thus giving input to different clinical studies and/or projects
Support pharmacovigilance and risk management planning
Education
Qualified to degree level in biosciences or an equivalent healthcare or pharmasceutical industry background, with proven competency in clinical development.
Experience and Competence
Broad Competence with medical, therapeutic and technical terminology
Understanding of regulatory obligations
Able to work independently
Able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
Able to acquire and assimilate knowledge of cultural diversity
Able to maintain high ethical standards
Good attention to detail
Fluent in written and oral English
Good computer skills
