What you will be part of
For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.
Market Area Europe is the largest Marketing Area across Saab, and is the European sales organization responsible for the strategy, marketing and sales of Saabs entire portfolio across the European continent. Headquartered in London, Market Area Europe has a presence in more than 15 countries and employs more 30 nationalities.
The Market Area Europe HQ is a fast-paced, dynamic and agile team of seasoned professionals where no day is reministant of the past. The HQ is responsible for all functional and operational support towards the local entities, the functional groups and the Saab group management. Work carried out in this unit consists of and is not limited to; Strategy, Business Development, Financial Controlling, Governance, Budgeting and Forecasting, Stakeholder management (internal and external), Human Resources, Communication and tradeshow management.
Your role
During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects.
The role is a dynamic and challenging one, where your development and exposure will be throughout the Market Area HQ functions. The role reports to the Market Area Chief of Staff, but interaction and responsibilities align with multiple stakeholders and functions across Market Area operations. The role will contribute to the practical nature of governing a complex, multi-national, multi-functional, matrix marketing operational unit.
Scope of operations and responsibilities will be (and not limited to); financial controlling and analysis, sales forecasting and projecting, international governance, legal and export control compliance, business/market/competitor/stakeholder analysis, producing decision enabling material.
Your skills and experience

You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.
The ideal candidate has an international perpsective and mindset, preferably with a Post-graduate Degree in Business Adminstration, Economics or Law. The role is exposed to a fast paced and ever evolving environment, where the candidate must be able to adjust to his or her surroundings and learn while doing.
The ideal candidate has experience working or living abroad, and an inherent international curiousity.
Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
