What you will be part of
For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.
As a Finance Trainee you will be based at our central Group Finance function in Stockholm, during the Graduate Program. We will plan your graduate year together and the idea is for you to get a broader view of Saab and Finance while delivering excellent results. You will achieve this by rotating, participating in different projects and actively delivering on target to various units.
Your role
During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects.
After the Graduate Program, our intention is for you to receive an appropriate position at a geographical location in line with our business needs, your profile and future ambitions. This will be discussed with the CFO and the Finance Board. If you show us determination, ambition and deliver on target, we believe that you can become a Business Unit Controller, or similar, in the future.
Your skills and experience
As we are looking for future leaders, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You understand that communication, collaboration and curiosity are essential success factors for a business to grow and for people to thrive at their workplace. You are flexible, humble and spread positive energy. You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation, drive and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.
To be a successful Finance Trainee, you need a Master of Business Administration or similar.
Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances it will be required of you to conduct and receive an approved security clearance by responsible authorities.
