As Ingest Operator you'll be an integral part of our VOD Operations team, handling and securing video quality for all formats on the Viaplay service in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
YOU HAVE A NEED FOR CONTROL - QUALITY CONTROL
The future of television is here. New technologies emerge constantly and as Ingest Operator, this is an excellent chance to join an exciting journey. To ensure proper subtitling and full audio-visual quality you will carry out daily revision and quality control of large amounts of movies and TV-series. Your immediate colleagues, apart from other Ingest Operators, are technical support staff and internal teams taking care of ordering and publishing the material on the Viaplay platform. Occasional dialogue with our distributors may occur in conjunction with error reports. As member of the VOD-team you will learn everything about handling and converting video material.
YOU HAVE AN EYE FOR TV. AND A SENSE OF SERVICE
A high school diploma, a couple of years work experience and an interest for IT, technology and/or media, will increase your chances to participate in a rewarding development. Knowledge of various video formats, conversion or digital video editing will be to your advantage, but is not regarded a requirement. We are primarily looking for the right person that is willing to learn everything we can teach you. In order to be the right person, you are: Thorough, endlessly service-minded, reasonably patient and able to see the charm in routine work seeing the final result. Together with the rest of the team, you will from time to time find yourself at the "epicentre" of events, bombarded with work and very little time to actually do the work. We would like you to speak native Russian, alternatively Estonian, Latvian or Lithuanian. Proficiency in English is a requirement, knowledge of Swedish is a bonus, but in no way a must. Your placement will be in Stockholm, so you should be prepared to relocate if necessary.
