Our software development headquarters in Stockholm is looking for a Rails-Jedi Knight (highly motivated Padawans will be considered too) able to solve common software development problems and help us with our day to day work. We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails engineer with a passion for technology. We offer you a great environment where you have the opportunity to develop on a professional and personal level.
Qualifications
• Experience creating responsive apps in Ruby-on-Rails
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Consuming and delivering web services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
• Modern source control systems like Git, Mercurial, etc.
• Comprehensive computer-science fundamentals
• Knowledge of common software design patterns
• Complete daily tasks on the production servers utilizing SSH and the command line
• Be able to use the force when the dark side forces strike
Merits
• Front end JavaScript / CoffeeScript work or/and HTML5 exposure
• Knowledge of Phusion Passenger and Apache
• Solr or other search engines
• Stays informed of the latest tools and ideas in the Ruby and Rails communities

Early Interactive is the development department of Early Media. We specialize in developing iPhone and Android apps, web, mobile-based websites, and e-commerce platforms. We also offer our own CRM-system. All employees have extensive experience in both mobile applications and various Web platforms. Early Media was founded in 2002 and currently has offices in Oslo and in Stockholm.
