Stockholms tech scene is booming! We are now expanding our capacityto meet future requirements and are looking for a Ruby on rails developer with a DevOps interest for our Stockholm office.
Job description
As a DevOps Developer you will work very closely with our DevOps Lead to execute on the platform roadmap, as a team you will resolve application and platform issues and build systems used by Mynewsdesk. Your goals will also be to increase uptime and performance scoring, improve developer happiness and improve security measurements
We work with a modern tech stack, built mainly with Ruby on Rails in the backend. We focus on building our apps, while letting cloud services run them for us and we use various big data services to process our customers data and the media landscape around us, to allow a truly data driven PR!
This is you!
You have 2-3 years of professional experience working as a developer and you have an interest in DevOps.
You have experience programming in Ruby on rails
You have experience of working with AWS Cloud and/or Heroku
You are fluent in English
We think you are a doer that loves to get your hands dirty and getting things done. You are also supportive, a people person and have an open-mindset about taking on new challenges and get new experiences.
It would be great if you have experience..
of applications hosted in a cloud environment
of managing databases such as Postgres, Redis and ElasticSearch
as a Linux server administrator
with Docker
