Take the opportunity to join GPA CIO in the role as a Release Train Engineer (RTE). You will be working in a rapidly changing environment as Group Products and Advice will take the next steps of the Agile Transformation journey in alignment with the SAFe way of working.As a Release Train Engineer you will play an important role in the agile transformation journey contributing to increased value, flow and efficiency.Your main responsibility will be to facilitate and coach our agile teams to create value and progress in our product and IT development.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to: Actively contribute to the implementation of established practices and participate in competence development forums
Drive the development of customizations based on our agile maturity and performance through standardization and documentation of best practices
Coach and guide stakeholders in the agile mindset, principles and working methods
Promote continuous learning and improvement within teams and the organization
Support teams by driving solutions to problems they can't solve on their own
Identify and manage risks to ensure progress and quality
Communicate and coordinate between actors at portfolio level and within the different teams
What isneeded in this role: Experience in implementing the SAFe framework and working within an agile business with complexity in architecture and regulatory adaptations
Previous experience of the RTE role at least 2 years
Relevant university degree or equivalent
Working language mostly English
Knowledge and experience of agile and lean methods and the ability to apply them in complex businesses environment
At least 10 years work experience, incl. at least 5 years of work experience from agile transformations
Great insights in Agile values, principles, and methods
Experience from the Banking and/or Financial industry is an advantage
SAFe RTE and/or SPC certificate is an advantage
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, such as active listening skills
Structured and organized with a pragmatic and solution-oriented view
A great and engaged team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others
Skills to inspire and motivate people
Self-driven and used to take own initiatives
Strength in building cooperation and networks and have the ability to build confidence
Strong facilitation skills

About the job:
• Swedbank is undergoing a major IT modernisation transformation of replacing legacy platforms with more modern technology to meet increased customer demand and reduce risks.
• In order to manage this big transformation we need to become more efficient and focus on delivering value. We will do that by implementing agile ways of working based on the SAFe framework.
• We need an experienced RTE who will play a key role in guiding, driving and supporting the teams in this journey to become successful in this transformation and the deliveries.
• The RTE will work closely together with the Product Managers, Agile Product Owners, Scrum Masters and together with a team of other 12-14 RTE's also drive the team towards set deliveries and enable an efficient team/organisation.
