Are you ready to expand your core software development skillset and gain hands-on experience with the emerging digital technology of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)?
Do you have a genuine interest in driving process efficiencies through designing innovative automation solutions? If the answer is yes, you may well be our new RPA Developer. At E.ON we have embarked on a robotics journey and are now looking for a business-oriented RPA Developer using Blue Prism.
This newly created role in the Business IT team will give you the opportunity to work side-by-side with internal customers and technical experts from a variety of backgrounds, to design and deploy automation robotics process solutions.
As a RPA Developer, you will participate in business requirements gathering together with key stakeholders, including estimation and planning activities. You will analyse and optimize business processes, identify automation opportunities and assess automation feasibility.
You will also Identify and communicate the technical infrastructure requirements to deploy automation solutions.
As a RPA developer, you will also work with:
Define, design and develop automation solutions on the Blue Prism RPA platform
Plan and participate in deployment of RPA platform components such as bots
Be responsible for the operational aspects of the automation platform
Create and maintain solution documentation
Provide technical direction on design considerations, including performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, auditability, and security
You have solid programming skills and are an analytical problem-solver. You also have a passion for new technologies, and a keen interest in working with others to design and develop new solutions.
The role also requires some experience of process mapping. Possibly you have worked with process automation and associated tools before, but this is not a must.
As this role involves many stakeholders, you also thrive with team work and have strong communication skills. We would like you to have an education within Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields. You may also like to have 3+ years of software development experience and experience in SQL.
We also want you to have
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
General understanding of technical design documents relevant to process modelling and design
Past experience working as part of a collaborative team that practices Agile (Scrum methodology preferred) and/or DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle
Experience across the development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance
Adaptable self-starter who works with minimal supervision. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organise time effectively
Ability to work well with business unit SME's, Business Analysts, Developers, and end users in cross-functional teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Solid written and spoken English and Swedish.
