hela Sverige Royal Hand is a Swedish indie game studio comprised of six highly talented game makers working pro bono and with one common goal: to create games that stimulate your mind as well as your emotions. Our offices can be found in Bromölla but our team members come from all across the continent.
At this very moment we have begun the production process on our first game (Codename: Project Glitch) and are looking for experienced artists to give the final touches to an already excellent project.
About the position
We are looking for a 2D Artists to work with our 2D art and UI elements for our games. You will create menu and HUD mockups, concept art and other game art assets. As a 2D Artist you are responsible for proactively understanding the art direction and the overall vision of the game. You are also responsible for understanding and taking into account how your tasks fit the big picture when planning, prioritizing and estimating your work. There will also be opportunities to support our marketing and publishing with 2D artwork.
Note that all positions at Royal Hand Studios are currently pro bono and the rate of employment may also be discussed(part-time work/lower level of employment).
Responsibilities
• Create 2D Game assets, UI mockups, Concept art and implementation.
• Help plan and estimate all 2D work within the project.
• Develop best practices, ?what good looks like? and the general workflow for the project or the tools we use

Now we are looking for creative, passionate, and smart artists that can help us overcome the challenges we face. We are looking for artists with all kinds of experience because we believe that having different perspectives is an important part of creative work.
Required skills and experience
• Highly detail-oriented with a passion for pixel perfection, self-motivated and highly organized.
• You must be able to work collaboratively with the game team, which includes daily communication with programmers and designers.
• Proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Adobe After Effects, Animation and/or 3D modeling skills considered plus.
