www.stenaline.com.We are now recruiting for the position of Route Onboard Sales & Service (OSS) Manager for Business Region Baltic Sea South within Stena Line. The Baltic Sea South region includes currently 3 ships on 1 route between Poland (Gdynia) and Sweden (Karlskrona). Position of Route OSS Manager belongs to Regional Management Team.
Responsibilities
The Route OSS Manager has responsibility for the OSS business on 3 ships within region BSS; Stena Spirit, Stena Vision, Stena Baltica and about 180 permanent employees plus some number of seasonal staff. The Route OSS Manager has full profit & loss responsibility and a strong focus on daily operational issues. An important factor for success in the role is to be engaged and having the ability to prioritize and delegate.
The main KPI 's for this position are financial results, operational costs, customer satisfaction and Stena Voice.
Main tasks
• Budget compilation and follow-up, delivering financial targets and manning optimization
• Secure product quality and implement best practices to reach operational efficiency and excellence
• Implement concepts and products given by the Central OSS organization and ensure that the concepts are executed accordingly
• Resolution and follow-up of customer complaints
• Implement relevant improvements according to customer touch points within the area of responsibility
• Cooperate internally with freight organization to deliver products to drivers
• Cooperation with Travel Sales for special events and cruises onboard
• Managing and coaching of OSS management team.
• Personnel related issues as performance management, appraisals, recruitments etc.
The position is based in Gdynia or Karlskrona, entailing extensive travelling within the region and onboard the ships and to some extent be accessible after office hours. The position reports to the Trade Director Baltic Sea South. Start of employment is September 2017.
Personal qualities
• Experience from the service industry as well as the Shipping industry
• Good knowledge of the onboard culture
• Extensive experience of leading others
• Experience from managing change processes
• Previous P&L responsibility
• Fluent in written and spoken business English
• Preferably fluent in written and spoken Swedish and /or Polish
• Strong customer insight and business acumen; ability to understand our OSS customer and reach business targets and generate turnover.
• As a leader you are inspirational and have a high level of energy and possess excellent communication skills. You act in a non-prestigious way and are visible in the OSS organization on the vessels.
• You have an operational focus and a natural drive to make things happen.
• Ability to build trustful relationships with important areas of contact as well as stakeholders in the organization
