Our Product Life Cycle organization is growing och we are looking for more committed colleagues to several positions! Come join an exciting team that have the responsibility of our gas turbines through the whole life cycle, from development to long term service maintenance.
As a Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/Task Force Lead, you get a unique opportunity to work with high impact problem-solving. Your mission is to lead investigations of complex technical issues by identifying the underlying root cause of a problem, analyze and see what can be done to prevent a similar event from occurring in the future, or to reduce the consequences if it does.
To understand the real cause of the problem, it's crucial to develop a solution to tackle the real problem and not just a cure for the symptoms. Performing high-quality RCAs is of big importance to achieve a good technical responsiveness to our customers as well as an effective resolution of product problems to ensure high product performance and low deviation costs.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Lead a team of technical engineers and experts to identify the root cause of major engineering problems in accordance with the PIP process. Deviations from the agreed timetable and budget shall be communicated at an early stage.
* Being responsible for communicating the investigation status to internal and external customers and following the decided review process.
* Lead Task force projects for significant site and fleet issues to support fast solution development and site implementation.
* Being responsible for final documentation of RCA and that new identified or unresolved issues that need further action are handed over to the responsible function.
What You Bring
* Good project management and leadership skills
* A good overall gas turbine and general technical engineering knowledge
* A technical interest and a passion for problem solving.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to express yourself clearly in English. Swedish is a merit
* Good commercial and legal understanding related to customer communications.
