Within the Driver Assistance Systems group we work on one of Scania's three focus areas, autonomous vehicles, in order to ensure that this becomes reality. The group consists of function developers, systems owners and project managers, and has property responsibility for active safety and autonomy, as well as responsibility for Scania's Roadmap for ADAS and ATS.
The ADAS and ATS work is based on the area's Roadmap and takes the form of cross-functional work in which several different parts of Scania are involved. As coordinator, you will be part of an experienced and competent group in which everyone has different roles and duties, but works towards the same goal. The work takes place cross-functionally with VW Truck & Bus and in cooperation with MAN.
Your duties
Your role is to coordinate the work between the group's function developers and the rest of the business in order to support and realise the Roadmap. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right investigations/projects are started and prioritised in order to fulfil the Roadmap and ensure that all colleagues understand their part in the work.
You will start up projects in the first conceptual phase, create areas for cooperation, organise continual cross-functional reconciliation meetings with all project managers and other stakeholders in order to seize opportunities/tackle challenges in the various projects at an early stage.
Your profile
You will have several years' experience in coordination, project management and/or development, and are interested in developing your skills. We expect you will have a BSc or MSc in engineering in computers, electrical engineering, engineering physics or equivalent, or alternatively similar professional experience.
You will be fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
As a person, you will be interested in making things happen and assisting in this when required. You are a good listener, can view challenges from various perspectives and roles, and communicate these in order to circulate information of importance. You will feel comfortable trying new things and will be interested in moving work forward together with your talented colleagues.
