hela Sverige Product Support Program is a function within Product Development, with focus on Product Support related issues, according to the agreed directives for Manufacturing and Product Support.
The mission for the Product Support Program is to lead Product Support activities and assure that activities are planned and prioritized for products designed by Volvo Aero, such as the RM12, Trent 900- and GEnx-components. The Product Support activities are organized as projects with defined goals.
Product Support responsibility is to balance and manage all approved projects in order to deliver best possible value from a timing, cost and functionality perspective.
Job description:
RM12 Product Support project manager coordinates activities for RM12 product support. The goal for the project is to reach targets for availability, maintenance cost and flight safety for engine RM12 in the Gripen aircraft.
Typical tasks for a Project Manager are to break down goals in logical activities, coordinate activities, progress report to steering group and customer, economical follow-up and contact with suppliers/customers.
Qualifications:
You are an engineer with a MSc degree education or equal experience
Experience from working as a line manager or in projects as a leader or team member. It's important that you can work independently and can take own initiatives. Industrial experience of Product Development and/or Product Support. You have focus on results in time with quality, always with the customer needs in mind
Good communication skills both internally and externally and ability to lead cross functional teams. You are organized and like to manage a team working across departments and roles. As a person, you have a genuine interest in leading people and working with aerospace engines. Furthermore you can easily communicate in both Swedish and English, written as well as verbal
