TRATON Financial Services' is here to make sustainable transportation a reality. We are a newly established group-wide financial services unit within the TRATON Group. The corporate group, whose customers we support, includes Scania, MAN, Navistar, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus LLC. As we expand, it is crucial that we have the ability to understand our risks to support our strategy and continued success and we are therefore looking for an experienced and passionate Risk Officer with focus on quantitative risk to join the team.
About the Role
The central risk control function is responsible for advising and supporting, as well as overseeing and controlling, the risk management of TRATON Financial Services centrally and globally. As the risk control function is under development you will contribute in building the risk modelling capabilities and contribute to the development of the function.
The role includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
Take an active role working in building an efficient 2nd line risk function with focus on quantitative risk
Development of risk models and analytics tools.
Structured data management and analysis.
Interaction with business, treasury and credit teams.
Support the global GRC organization of second line professionals in questions related to quantitative aspects of risk management.
Stress tests and scenario analysis.

• Monitoring and reporting on the outcome of Key Risk Indicators (KRI:s) in relation to decided risk limits.
• Developing and administering procedures for the work of the risk function, finding new and better ways to support the business and add strategic value.
Risk Officer Quantitative Risk reports to the Head of Risk Control.
About You
You have experience of working with quantitative tasks within a regulated market and therefore have a deep understanding of risk management in the financial industry. It is crucial that you have big passion for continuous improvement, always looking for efficient and effective solutions for the best benefit of the business operations.
Qualifications
• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar is required
• At least 5 years of experience from Risk Management in the financial sector
Strong communication skills in English both written and oral, additional languages such as Swedish is a plus

Meritorious
• Programming skills in SAS, R, and Python
• Experience from implementation of CRD/CRR
• High integrity and ethical standards
• Communication and presentation abilities

You have communication and interpersonal skills as well as high integrity and an open-minded approach. You are able to structure and shape your responsibilities and independently deliver on your objectives.

An international work environment. Your home office is located in Södertälje but you will have access to a group wide office hub in central Stockholm and we support the flexibility to work where the tasks are best performed. The role includes travelling but you are expected to shape this to the needs of your role and work.
