We are looking for a Risk Manager for WirelessCar
In this role within the Technology & Security department, you'll be responsible for driving Enterprise Risk Management at both the company and functional levels. You will focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the security, safety, and reliability of our advanced technology and services. Your efforts will play a crucial role in safeguarding our technology and driving our commitment to excellence, while supporting the entire WirelessCar organization.
As a leader in company-wide initiatives, you will shape and refine our risk and business continuity management strategies, with a particular emphasis on critical areas like cybersecurity. Additionally, you'll guide and support teams, stakeholders, and customer programs in planning and executing effective risk assessments.
Your line manager will be the CSO (Chief Security Officer).
About the Technology & Security department
At WirelessCar, our Technology and Security department is at the forefront of innovation and excellence and is responsible for various key functions within the company, including research, technology strategy, and security. We identify emerging trends, advise customers, and explore innovative connected car solutions. We design secure architectures, manage our platforms, and engage in open-source projects. Our security team protects systems and data, ensures regulatory compliance, manages risks, and operates a Vehicle Security Operations Center (VSOC). We also safeguard physical security and maintain business continuity.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in steering direction thoughtfully, providing constructive challenges, and delivering strong support to both the organization and customer programs.
Experience in Risk Management: Proven experience in risk management, preferably in the technology or automotive sectors, with a solid understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of connected car technology, software development processes, and security standards.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies within the profession of risk management.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capability to quickly respond to and manage security incidents.
Full proficiency in English
Advantageous:
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are beneficial but not mandatory.
