Q-Med is recruiting a Risk Manager and the position will implement security strategies linked to the organisational objectives through risk assessment and implementation of preventive actions through program guidance, technical advice and investigate support and promote a culture and awareness regarding security among all employees.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating security policies linked to the organisations objectives
• Communicate with external law enforcement contacts to ensure proactively information on threats likely to affect assigned sites
• Providing reports and advice to the respective site leadership as required
• Ensure the security clearance and vetting procedures for all new staff, visitors and contractors are enforced
• Manage the security contract and with the appropriate facilities manager ensure the correct level of security is provided at all assigned sites
• Liaise with the Healthcare Industries, Security Forum and attend meetings as required
Experience and personality:
We are looking for a person with a Bachelor degree with an appropriate level experience in a similar or related role or 10 years of experience in criminal justice, law enforcement or industrial Security.
Minimum of 3 years general administration/supervision, safety/security experience.
• Management experience, experience from participating or leading development/change activities
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to solve problems, manage projects and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
• Must have an ability to shift from a strategic focus to become fully operational according to situation.
• Good analytical ability
• Have a proven ability to combine personal drive and fulfilment of objectives to reach agreement with stakeholders in a collaborative way
• Have a proven ability to stay focused, balanced and use common sense when under pressure and in critical situations
• Willing to travel up to 35% of time (international)
The position is based in Uppsala but will provide services to all Galderma Group sites long term, in close collaboration with site management. The position will report to the management team.
