INTRODUCTION
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most recognizeed trade and export finance teams within Swedish industry. You will be a key contributer to the offering and development of financial solutions within the export finance market.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Risk Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the trade and export finance solutions for independent dealers and key customers in a select number of markets within Sales Region EMEA. In addition, the Risk Manager is responsible for risk management activities across the Sales Region.

The Risk Manager shall have strong organizing skills and acumen to minimize credit risk and reduce capital tied up. A prerequisite for success is ability to develop and maintain an effective cooperation with a number of stakeholders across the sales organization, independent dealers, banks, Export Credit Agencies (ECA's), etc. whilst keeping a focus to detail and process.

You will report to the Director Customer Finance & Risk, Volvo CE EMEA and you will be based in Eskilstuna.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor performance and adherence to the Credit Policy, the Credit Management Directive and the Authority Matrix. Promote knowledge and support the further development of the above
Drive the discounting activities for select markets and assist in negotiations with banks to improve discounting process
Monitor credit insurance programmes for Region EMEA
Drive the collection and dunning procedure for non-group companies in select markets
Establish, develop, and maintain a network among local and foreign banks, ECA's, etc. to facilitate the overall commercial targets of customer financing

MAIN TASKS
Assist in Credit Management issues and act in an advisory capacity
Ensure that accounts receivables are reconciled properly
Ensure that payments are correctly accounted for and reconciled
Monitor collection and dunning for select owned dealers
Assist in monthly closing procedure
Prepare outgoing payments and drive the discounting process
Provide advice and support on credit insurance queries
Provide ad-hoc analysis and information to the VCE Management
Drive the Cash Conversion Cycle initiatives to secure long term efficient working capital management through process improvement
Responsible for the follow up of residual value commitments and contingent liabilities including preparing proposal of new limits
Acquire good knowledge of the Volvo Financial Risk Policies and follow up on adherence
Identify and implement improvements in the processes related to the above

Required knowledge and experience
Minimum 3 years of export/trade, sales or structured finance experience gained with a financial institution or large exporter
Analytical ability and interest
Excellent spoken and written English skills
University degree in Economics or equivalent work experience
Excel and other relevant software (SAP, MOM, MS Office, etc.)
Target-driven, self-motivated and willing to take on responsibility
Experience working in an international and multi-cultural environment
Team player and ability to network effectively across a diverse customer base and to build enduring relationships across functional and geographical areas
High standard of professionalism and operate with integrity (The Volvo Way)
