We are looking for a Risk Manager - Project Risk for our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at Group Risk Management (GRM).
Group Risk Management is responsible for Risk controlling, the ERM-process (Enterprise Risk Man-agement) of the company, risk mandates and risk instructions, providing a second opinion on opera-tional risk issues and projects, risk reporting and for the overall Risk Management development within the Group. This comprises development and approval of state-of-the-art models, including fundamen-tal analysis.
The Vattenfall Risk organisation gathers all Risk Management personnel within Vattenfall in one func-tion clearly separated from the P&L responsibility.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Secure risk identification and analysis in close cooperation with management in the organisa-tion; main focus on operational and strategic risks in BD Asset Development and BU Nuclear.
• Analysis of collected risk information
• Development of the Enterprise Risk Management process in the Vattenfall Group, the Busi-ness Divisions, the Business Units as well as functions overarching the whole of the Vatten-fall Group. Further development of project risk within Vattenfall.
• Implementation of risk assessment problems by converting mathematical models and theo-retical concepts into practical solutions
• Support the management in risk issues and in the mitigation of risks
• Internal education and training to improve risk awareness in the Group
Requirements
• Academic degree within relevant area or equivalent qualifications and experiences
• Several years of experience from Enterprise Risk Management
• Very good knowledge of the energy industry and their specific risks
• In depth knowledge of modern business methods for risk assessment and risk aggregation
• Good knowledge in English, oral as well as written
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• Commitment and reliability
• Good cooperation and communication skills
• Ability to build trust and confidence and to be a team player in an international team
• A good knowledge of Vattenfall's business appreciated
