Within Klarna?s Risk division the main goal is to secure that we allow as many consumers as possible, worldwide, to use our service and that the risks we take as a company are detected and handled correctly. One of the keys in reaching that goal is to make sure that the main processes in the division are performed according to internal and legislated demands. Which is one of the responsibilities for the Data Sources team, setting up controls to validate that the process is performed in the correct way.

In addition to that the team helps the organization to find information outside the company to improve processes and products. There will constantly be new and challenging tasks where the end result often will play a vital role in Klarna's decision-making process.

We are now looking for another key player to take on this responsibility and contribute to the team. Are you up for the challenge?

The controller will be the risk departements process expert from a compliance perspective, identifying new risks, evaluating the impact and implement the appropriate controls to manage them. The controller will report to the Data source manager.

More specifically, the tasks will include:
• Designing new controls when new critical processes are identified, or existing processes are changed
• Contribute to the overall compliance perspective of the organization
• Performing follow up's with managers within the Risk division to make sure that the processes are being followed
• Educating the Risk managers and team leaders in how to perform the controls
• Conducting risk related analyses

The working structure at Klarna is project based, with both short and long term goals, and you will handle these projects individually as well as in different group constellations. You will be working with new, demanding and innovative projects as well as take responsibility for re-occurring tasks as e.g. data reporting. Excel and Power Point will be your primary work tools.
Requirements
To thrive in this position we believe that you truly enjoy working with the whole process, making sure that we are compliant. We believe that you have:
• A Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Engineering and Management
• 1-3 years of experience in related field
• Experience from performing internal audits is meriting

As a person you are self-motivated, flexible and innovative with good people skills. Seeing that the role is new you need to adjust easily and take an active role in creating a successful team. Your analytical ability makes you able to identify and structure even the most unconventional problems and turn them in to clear recommendations. You enjoy making decisions and having close contact with other parts of the organization.
