Work description
Klarna is a credit company supervised by the SFSA and our internal control is of utmost importance to us. Klarna has been expanding rapidly to Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Germany and Israel, and we plan to enter several new markets during 2012. We are now building a larger organization around internal control and are looking for two experienced Risk Controllers. As a Risk Controller, you are part of our Independent Risk Control Team, reporting to our CEO and the Board.
You will work both strategically and operationally to identify shortfalls and maintain the framework for internal control. You will also do independent testing of the framework and compile various reports to our management and board. Since we are a fast growing international company with new products in the market, we are also faced with new challenges from an internal control, regulatory and process perspective. We want you to come up with your own suggestions for improvements of our processes.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is business-oriented with strong analytical skills. You have worked with audit and/or internal control for about 5 years, preferably in one of the larger audit consulting firms. Also, experience from the financial industry or IT as well as experience in working with operational risks within banking/finance, is a plus. You should also be highly skilled in both written and spoken English. Since we are a fast growing company we want you to appreciate a changing and dynamic work environment with many young people, and both flexibility and great communication skills will be important in the role.
