About Us
Risk & Compliance Consulting (RCC) at KPMG Advisory is a diverse team of around 75 colleagues with subject matter expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, forensic investigations, fraud risk management, internal control, risk management, financial crime prevention and internal audit. We work with the full spectra of risk advisory services and our people have highly diverse background and training including legal, engineering, accounting and political science. We work with high-performing clients in all sectors including industrial sector, public sector, and financial services. An important part of our work is digitalization and integrating new technologies to optimize risk management and internal control processes for our clients. Your role
You will be part of our RCC team working as a risk consultant in different industries and sectors together with competent and inspiring colleagues across KPMG. Our RCC practice is highly diverse and international to mirror our clients and engagement. As a risk consultant within our RCC practice, you will assist our clients in managing their risk management processes and help transforming internal control processes to meet ever increasing stakeholder and regulatory demands. You need to have a passion for governance, risk management and internal controls and we are looking for candidates with a background in risk management, governance and internal controls.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with some of the best specialists in the market place, and to develop as a professional advisor and consultant. As a person, you need to be comfortable and thrive in the ever-changing and dynamic project-based role of a consultant. You must have a desire to work team-based with others to solve our clients' requests. You will work with different risk management agendas and should be prepared to try different engagements within the broader governance, risk management and internal control area. Our engagements are increasingly related to digitalization and IT which is why we are looking for candidates with an appetite for technology.

As a risk consultant you will be involved in various client projects within different sectors including financial services, industrial sector and the public sector. More specifically, in your role you will together with other colleagues:

- Advise clients on internal control structures based on regulatory requirements and leading practices.
- Perform reviews or internal audit engagements based on regulatory requirements and leading practices.
- Advise and inform clients on how to improve risk management and internal control processes including internal control over IT.
- Perform investigations based on potential breaches in order to understand the fraud risk management and internal control processes in place.
- Undertake workshops and train external stakeholders and clients on how to best manage risks and internal controls.
- Map and improve internal controls in business processes.

We are looking for high-performing risk professionals who have between 2-10 years of experience from risk management and internal control or related fields. Personal characteristics include a strong business focus, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented way of working. We value team players, international experience, diverse backgrounds and strong drive and passion! Relevant experience working with risk management and internal control as a professional advisor is a plus. Fluency in English is a requirement, Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
