Required education and work experience:
• You have a suitable education (BSc/MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Sciences or the equivalent).
• 1+ years of work experience querying databases using SQL for analytical purposes.
• 1+ years of solving analytical, risk, and/or business intelligence problems using appropriate tools (any of SQL, SAS, SPSS, R, Python, Excel, etc).
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical ability is a must.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Your English is fluent, both oral and written.
Highly desirable skills:
• Statistical programming experience in R, Python.
• Experience creating and evaluating predictive models.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
• Experience creating credit scores, fraud detection scores or similar business related predictive models.
• Previous experience in the financial sector is preferred.
Personal skills:
• You are not afraid to work independently and face unexpected situations or new challenges.
• You are a target and results oriented person, focused on details and committed to your work.
• You are thrilled about learning new things and applying data analytics to real world problems.
