As Risk Analyst you will support a team who works with Anti Financial Crime (AFC) at Swedbank. The overall AFC unit encompasses a wide range of disciplines including anti-money laundering, financial sanctions, fraud and cyber security. The risk unit within AFC aims to help the organization achieve this by providing the relevant support and foundation to operate in a risk-based manner. In your role as Risk Analyst, you will support the team to review, monitor and analyze the growing need for risk management data activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining the AFC 's evolving data library by structing and creating risk, control and incident reports.
In your role as Risk Analyst within AFC your main tasks will include:
• Implementing and maintaining a robust infrastructure to support effective risk management
• Supporting the enhancement and execution of risk management processes
• Analyzing and improving the quality of AFC 's data library
The role as Risk Analyst is a full-time consulting mission with start date as soon as possible and will last for 6 months. Location is in Sundbyberg.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with relevant University bachelor 's degree or higher and between 0 and 5 years of work experience in the financial services industry. For this role it 's important that you have an interest in risk related matters and data analysis. Since you will be an integral part of supporting the risk function in AFC, we gladly see that you have a general understanding of risk related matters and general understanding of banking/financial service operations. We also looking for a candidate with motivation to develop the risk function to be powerful tool for the managers and limit unintentional or undue risk taking.
Furthermore, we see that you possess a good communicative ability, good in collaborating with colleagues and who are structured. For this role we see that you have the ability to handle and draw conclusions from extensive amount of data or information.
Important for the role:
• Relevant University degree or higher
• Earlier work experience in financial service industry
• Fluent English in writing and speaking
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in ServiceNow is a plus
