For the development of Care by Volvo - we will strengthen the team with a Risk Analyst.

Responsibilities

This is a global role covering all markets in which Volvo operates. As a Risk Analyst you will be part of the Analytics and Risk team within Care by Volvo - which focuses on managing the credit, fraud, driver and insurance risks within the consumer product offering. As the company is still in a start-up phase - The current focus is on building the capabilities needed to digitize and take all decisions relating to these areas in real time, and rolling out the respective consumer offering in all Volvo markets.

In addition to managing all the risks within the consumer offering - this team also focuses on building out the pricing offering and levels towards consumers and ensuring that Care by Volvo returns a sustainable business model through active revenue management and profitability analysis. The main tasks and areas you will be involved in are:

* Run statistical analysis and build risk policy scenario's in order to propose the optimal strategies for ensuring the highest approval/success rates whilst keeping losses from risks within defined risk appetite levels
* Build and optimize risk decision policies in all Care by Volvo markets
* Identify and work with external data providers to integrate their databases into Care by Volvo automated decision frameworks to augment the decision policies used to mitigate various risks
* Constantly analyze and optimize the Care by Volvo portfolio to identify strategies for improving risk management, revenue management and cost optimizations
* Support the leadership team with regular reporting, review and monitoring of the portfolio performance
* Be a key part in the process of analyzing consumer prices as well as maximizing Care by Volvos profits
* Statistical analysis of revenue drivers and correlations
* Formulate recommendations on capacity allocation and other commercial levers to improve profitability
* Developing reports, analytical tools and business intelligence based on the data warehouse and other sources of information

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
* University degree within in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Physics etc)
* Prior experience within an analytical role specifically within a B2C environment
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong data manipulation and extraction skills (SQL etc)
* Excellent skills in data analytics
* Innovative and creative mind-set
* Pays attention to detail and relies on fact-based decisions
* High ability to cooperate and work in cross-functional teams
* Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
