We are looking for advanced node IC Layout Engineers
As a layout engineer a RF & Mixed Signal IC Design Unit, you will work together with the top engineers in the industry with state-of-the-art technology in our journey towards 5G and beyond. You will work in a global environment where we cooperate with Ericsson's organizations and leading international suppliers.
You will be part of a team of RF and mixed signal IC designers, relying on your layout skills to make their designs real. The intention is to work in advanced nodes, <14nm.
Responsibilities
• Your main tasks will be to layout analog and RF circuits in advanced CMOS modes. Pure digital layout is not part of the scope. However, you need to be able to interface with digital back end designers. The resulting RF & Mixed Signal IC are for Ericsson's Radio base stations. You are responsible for documenting your work.
• You are also expected to participate in / drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
• You are responsible of maintaining your competence in the area.
• You will cooperate with the CAD system manager to keep the tools sets in good shape.
Qualifications
• Proven experience of advanced node layout work in the Cadence Virtuoso environment. Preferably in complex designs were cooperation with RF & Mixed signal designers as well as digital design was needed.
• GHz frequency understanding is meriting.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• M.Sc. level in a related technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
• A few years of related work experience
• Fluent in English, oral and written.
Location
Sweden, preferably in Linköping
