REVENUE OPERATIONS MANAGER

As a key member of the Revenue Team in Lund, the Revenue Operations Manager will have an active and lead role for the coordination of revenue operations from order processing through invoicing of our all of our revenue streams, for both direct and indirect channels across the Region.

The role has both a fiduciary Finance responsibility to ensure we correctly recognize and account for revenue as well as a customer centric responsibility to ensure we deliver the highest customer satisfaction as well as identifying potential upsell opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Lead the order processing team -through managing the processes from order entry to validation of information and accounting. Lead, build/develop and motivate a high performance team that is capable of delivery world class service to the business.
• Own and lead all Maintenance and Services Renewals.
• Help identify opportunities to Increase renewal rates among customer population and develop a mode that drives customer satisfaction levels.
• Lead and participate in monthly/quarterly revenue close activities.
• Ensure SOX compliant internal control in the revenue process.
• Monitor revenue, reconcile revenue related GL accounts and work with internal customers to resolve related revenue inquiries.
• Ensure and monitor that revenue is recognized in accordance with Corporate and SEC standards, including VSOE requirements.
• Identify and lead efforts to improve existing processes and controls on revenue cycle.
• To maximize up-sell opportunities and distribute leads to respective hub through team.
• Perform monthly account reconciliation and roll-forward schedules and coordinate planning, revenue forecasting and reporting requirements for sales and services.
• Develop key cross functional relationships with various cross-functional Business Partners within the region and Finance organization and more broadly across all Sales, Services and Financial Control organizations, to help resolve related revenue recognition inquiries.
• Engage with customers as appropriate to ensure we are driving the highest level of customer satisfaction and manage any escalations in the appropriate manner.
• Interaction and discussion on a regular basis with the Company's external auditors, geo sales and services teams and corporate teams and other supporting organizations regarding the Company's proposed or current revenue transactions.

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and cross functional organizations, including experience disseminating technical information and providing training.
• Customer service orientation and ability interact effectively with peer groups, subordinates and executives to successfully resolve issues and meet critical deadlines.
• Take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion. Strong initiative.
• Solid organizational and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills, and ability to manage priorities, critical tasks and other deliverables.
• Progressive management or leadership experience.
• Creative thinker.
• Very strong drive, dedication and work ethic.
• Commercial orientation and business acumen.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor equivalent mandatory Accounting, Finance or Economics
• ACA, CIMA, CPA; MBA preferred but not required.
• Business level English mandatory.
• 7- 10 years plus experience in progressive related field.
• Previous experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience with Revenue Accounting is required.
• Experience reading contracts/agreements and identifying pertinent terms and issues to provide appropriate accounting guidance and propose issue resolution to business managers.
• Experience in Software Industry a plus, not required.
• Public Company/ USGAAP/ SOX knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is highly desired.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word,). Demonstrated experience using Excel to build and maintain complex financial models as well as perform financial and data analysis.
